The woes of former Samajwadi Party MP and senior leader Azam Khan are not diminishing the name. They get shocks one after the other. Azam Khan is surrounded by another problem before he recovers from one problem. First Azam Khan went to the Legislative Assembly, then his name was also cut off from the electoral roll. Now one of his special men has also left his side and joined BJP.
‘Shanu’ joined the BJP
Azam Khan’s media officer Fasahat Ali Khan Sanu has turned saffron on Monday. He announced to join BJP along with his supporters in front of BJP state president Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh. Sanus leaving the party during the by-elections could prove to be a big blow to Azam Khan. Because Shanu did not leave Azam Khan’s side under adverse circumstances.
BJP president gave membership
BJP state president Bhupendra Singh Chowdhary gave party membership to Fasahat Ali Khan Sanu in the office of party candidate Akash Saxena in Rampur assembly by-election. Along with them, Azam Khan’s close aides Irshad Mahmood, Naveen Sharma and Vaibhav Yadav also joined the BJP. Naveen Sharma has been the city president of Lohia Vahini while Vaibhav Yadav has been the district president of SP students.
SP was shown after the general assembly election
Sanu had made inflammatory statements against SP chief Akhilesh Yadav after the 2022 assembly elections, after which it was feared that Akhilesh and Azam Khan were estranged and the two might part ways. But the case was resolved and the estrangement between the two was resolved.
