Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Friday launched ‘anywhere, anytime’ e-service for online transfer of leases through the Revenue Department in a bid to bring government services/facilities to the public’s doorstep. Landowners can apply for transfer of tenancy at the Common Service Center and Registrar’s Office and transfer order will be issued after completing the online process on their applications. Under this new facility, people can apply for transfer of lease from anywhere and anytime using the government website.

No need to go to the district office
The government is improving the infrastructure of the tax department and various facilities are being developed in the department to implement citizen-centric services. Now after the introduction of this new service, people do not need to go to the district office or CSC to transfer the lease. They can pay the required fee online and get approved.
Once the order is issued, its copy can be downloaded. “With this step, the public will now be freed from the hustle and bustle of various departments and middlemen,” the release said.
