Shrikant Tyagi: A court in Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar district on Tuesday rejected Shrikant Tyagi’s bail plea in a cheating case. However, the court granted bail to two of his associates in the case of sheltering Shrikant after he fled from Noida. A lawyer provided this information. In another case, the court also granted bail to six other employees of Tyagi, who were accused of trespassing at Grand Omaxe Society of Noida Sector 93B on August 6.
Tyagi was arrested from Meerut on August 9
It is known that Shrikant Tyagi is in jail for assaulting and harassing a woman on August 5 in a community based in Noida. The accused was arrested from Meerut on August 9, four days after the incident. Tyagi claims to be an official of the Bharatiya Janata Party, while the party has denied any connection with him. Assistant Public Prosecutor Premlata Yadav said Additional Civil Judge Nupur Srivastava was hearing Tyagi’s bail application.
