Sheikh Hasina: The Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, has reached India. The Prime Minister was accorded a warm welcome on his arrival in Delhi. Hasina arrived here on a four-day visit at the invitation of her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi. During the visit, Bangladesh and India are expected to sign seven agreements in several areas, including water management, railways and science and technology. Along with this, many important issues will also be discussed.
Rohingyas should return to their home soon: Hasina
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said in an interview given before her visit to India about Rohingya Muslims that ‘this is a big burden for us. We are in consultation with the international community and our neighbours. So the Rohingya can go back home. We give the Rohingya shelter and take care of everything. Hasina said that we were also provided with the vaccine during Kovid. But the question is how long they will stay here. Some people are involved in drug trafficking, women trafficking. The sooner they return to their homes, the better for our country and for Myanmar.
Our economy is still very strong: Hasina
The Prime Minister of Bangladesh said about the economy of his country that ‘Our economy is still very strong. We faced the corona pandemic, the war in Ukraine and Russia also affected us, but Bangladesh has repaid the loan on time. I don’t think we will ever face a Sri Lanka like situation.
