NIA Raid on PFI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting raids on Popular Front of India (PFI) premises in many states of the country. In this connection, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level meeting on Thursday and inquired into the entire matter. Home Ministry sources said Amit Shah has held a meeting with senior officials attached to the investigating agencies. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Home Minister Ajay Kumar Bhalla and NIA DG were also present in this meeting. Amit Shah has taken information about the entire raid. Apart from this, the Home Minister has also asked to ensure the security of NIA officers and offices.

According to the information, on August 29, Home Minister Amit Shah held an important meeting with top officials of the investigating agencies, where various agencies were directed to take major action against PFI in a coordinated manner. In this regard, NIA has arrested 106 persons from PFI by raiding in around 11 states of the country late at night. The NIA has termed it the ‘biggest investigative operation ever’.

In the matter of running terrorist financing and camps all over the country, a lot of action has been seen against PFI, i.e. Popular Front of India today ie. on Thursday. In about 11 states of the country, including UP, Maharashtra, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, NIA and ED teams have raided the homes of PFI’s state district leaders and arrested more than 100 of its members. The NIA has termed it the “biggest investigative operation ever”.

NIA has arrested PFI National President OMS Salam and Delhi President Parvez Ahmed. Meanwhile, security at the NIA headquarters in Delhi has been beefed up. Arrests in 11 states

According to sources, multiple agencies led by the NIA conducted simultaneous raids in 11 states on Thursday morning and arrested 106 Popular Front of India (PFI) activists allegedly involved in financing terrorism in the country. Officials said Kerala (22), Maharashtra (20), Karnataka (20), Tamil Nadu (10), Assam (9), Uttar Pradesh (8), Andhra Pradesh (5), Madhya Pradesh (4), Puducherry ( 3). ), Delhi (3) and Rajasthan (2). The leader of PFI has been arrested in many states.
