He has expressed his reaction after taking oath as CM to Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav as Deputy Chief Minister. Mufti today said that the JDU-RJD coalition in Bihar should not be limited to government formation but should be the real beginning of bringing together secular democratic forces in the country.

Mehbooba Mufti tweeted, “Congratulations Nitish Kumar ji and Tejashwi Yadav. This should not only be the formation of a government but should be the right beginning to bring secular and democratic forces together. Regional parties are opposing communal and divisive elements. He has played an important role in doing this and will continue to do so in the future.”

Significantly, Nitish Kumar announced his separation from the NDA on Tuesday and resigned from the post of Chief Minister. Soon after this he along with other opposition parties including RJD had staked claim to form a new government. Nitish Kumar took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 8th time on Wednesday.

Nitish Kumar attacks PM after taking oath

Governor Fagu Chauhan administered oath to Nitish Kumar as Chief Minister of Bihar at Raj Bhavan. After taking oath, Nitish Kumar made a big attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said whether we live or not, Modi will not live in 2024. Those who came in 2014 will not stay in 2024. He said you ask the people of our party what happened to everyone. I didn’t want to be Chief Minister (in 2020) but I was pressured to take care of you. Everyone saw what happened in the following days. We split up at the behest of our party people.
