Previously, Deepak Mittal was India’s Ambassador to Qatar since April 2020. Deepak has also served as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs. From 2014 to 2016, he also served in the PMO.

Similarly, the appointment of Vipin Kumar, IFS (2013) as Deputy Secretary for a period of three years and Nidhi Tiwari, IFS (2014) as Under Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office for a period of three years was approved by the Cabinet. been approved. Additionally, the ACC has approved the extension of the tenure of Rudra Gaurav Shrestha, joint secretary in the PMO, for a further period of two months from February 9, 2023 or till three weeks after Mittal takes over as OSD.
