Due to this trend, Aamir Khan’s recently released film Lal Singh Chaddha, made on a budget of crores, has flopped badly at the box office. The boycott trend affected the film’s earnings badly. Laal Singh Chaddha, which released on August 11, managed to earn only Rs 48 crore in six days. According to media reports, Aamir Khan has gone into shock after seeing such performance of the film at the box office.

Aamir Khan in shock after the film flopped
In a report in Bollywood Hungama, a close friend of Aamir Khan and his ex-wife Kiran Rao has told that Aamir Khan has gone into shock due to the rejection of Laal Singh Chaddha by the audience. This has affected him badly. He made this movie with great efforts. Apart from this, the actor is also said to have taken full responsibility for the failure of his film. They have also decided to compensate the distributors for their losses.

Ekta Kapoor came out to support Aamir Khan
Amidst all this, many Bollywood stars are seen supporting Aamir Khan. Earlier, Hrithik Roshan and Neha Dhupia had tweeted praising the film and recommending people to watch it. Now producer Ekta Kapoor also came out in support of the film and Aamir Khan. In an interview to NBT, Ekta said, “How strange that we are boycotting the people who have given maximum business to the entire film industry. All the Khans in the industry are legends and they cannot be boycotted.”
