Bakrid: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha visited Hazratbal Dargah in Srinagar on Thursday and underwent preparations for Eid-ul-Adha. Eid will be celebrated on Sunday. The lieutenant governor was accompanied by the chairman of the Waqf board of Jammu and Kashmir Darakhshan Andrabi and other high-ranking officials. Officials said Sinha reviewed the arrangements, including electricity, sanitation and water arrangements, for the worshipers who pray Eid prayers at the sacred shrine facing the famous Dal Lake. The Lt governor also asked the administration to take all necessary measures in case of rain forecast for Sunday, the official said.
