Dubai | India consolidated their position in third place in the latest ODI rankings published by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday by winning the triathlon series against England.
Rishabh Pant’s first ODI century and Hardik Pandya’s all-rounder helped India beat England in the third ODI to win the series 2-1. India has 109 rating points, three points more than Pakistan in fourth place (106 points).
New Zealand is at the top of the table with 128 points, while England is second with 121 points. However, South Africa in sixth place on this list will have a chance to improve their position.
The team is seven rating points behind Pakistan and will move up to fourth place if they clear the table in the upcoming three-match series against England.
The Indian team can also strengthen its position by performing well in the three matches against the West Indies starting next week.
