The Special Task Force (STF) of Haryana Police has arrested a gangster of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang after an encounter and recovered foreign-made arms and ammunition from him. The team of STF Ambala conducted a search operation in Sadar Karnal area from where they have nabbed the most wanted criminal. The team had received a tip-off that Mukesh and Ankush, residents of Karnal district, are active members of the Kamalpur gang and the Lawrence Group, who were carrying a large quantity of illegal weapons, which were allegedly sent from Pakistan by drone.

There are links with other gangs, including the Lawrence Bishnoi group

Based on the information, the police team rushed to the spot and arrested the accused after the encounter. A total of four foreign pistols, empty shell and 10 cartridges were recovered from Mukesh. Initial interrogation revealed that the accused have links with Babbar Khalsa group, Lawrence Bishnoi group and Ankush Kamalpur gang. The accused had bought illegal weapons from gangsters Damanjot Singh alias Kahlon and Virendra Sambi, who are currently living abroad.

Three sharpshooters were arrested on 11 September

On September 11, the Delhi Police arrested three sharpshooters of the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldy Brar gang near the Barwala-Bawana road. Police said the arrested sharpshooters have been identified as Naveen (23), Manoj (28) and Karambir (28), residents of Jhajjar in Haryana.

Fires three to four shots at the police

According to officials, the police arrested the trio near the helipad on the Barwala-Bawana road around 4 pm on Saturday. Despite being warned to surrender, the trio fired three to four shots from their pistols to escape, he said. According to officials, a policeman wearing a bulletproof jacket was hit in the fire.

He said the three sharpshooters were in direct contact with Goldie Brar, who lives in Canada, through the Signal app for the past few days. According to officials, Brar was able to provide money, shelter and weapons for three sharpshooters who were contracted to kill a man whose identity was to be revealed on the day of the murder.

Three pistols and 11 cartridges found

The three sharpshooters were wanted in connection with the use of weapons at a liquor shop in Jharsa, Gurugram, Haryana. According to the police, three pistols and 11 cartridges from the three sharpshooters have been found.
