Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan says he is very restless ahead of the release of his much-awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha and is unable to sleep at night. Aamir’s film is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on Thursday.

There was a time when Aamir Khan called India intolerant and criticized India’s customs by going to Turkey, but now Aamir Khan is back on track by taking a U-turn and telling people to love his country. On the other hand, if you see, a different atmosphere is seen on social media regarding Aamir Khan. The movie is constantly trending and people are sharing different types of facts related to the movie on social media. There is an appeal to continuously boycott the film.

Speaking at an event to mark 25 years of PVR Cinemas, Khan, 57, said, “I’m really nervous about the film’s release. I haven’t slept for 48 hours… I’m playing online chess, reading books to keep me going busy. I think I can sleep only after August 11. I think Advait Chandan (director) and I will sleep peacefully only after the release of the film.

Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh. During the programme, Khan reiterated his appeal to the audience to come to theaters to watch the film, saying that it is the fruit of many people’s hard work over the years. “If I have hurt anyone with any of my actions, I am sorry,” he said. I don’t want to hurt anyone. I think if some people don’t want to see my film, I will respect that. Responding to a question about calls made on social media regarding boycott of the film, Khan said, “But I want more and more people to watch the film.” We have worked hard. Film production is a team effort. I’m not the only one in this.
