Baliya: Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (Subhaspa) national president Om Prakash Rajbhar on Saturday said that despite the support of Shivpal Singh Yadav, SP’s defeat in the Mainpuri seat is certain. He has claimed that Subhaspa has become the third largest party in Uttar Pradesh by pushing back the Congress and the BSP. Addressing the workers’ conference in Maniyar area, Rajbhar said that Mulayam Singh Yadav won the Mainpuri seat in the SP-BSP alliance in the last Lok Sabha elections by a margin of 95 thousand votes.
He said that if the pro-BSP votes are removed from this, then the figure for SP’s stand becomes clear. Aiming at SP, Rajbhar said, ‘SP remained in power four times in the state. People have not forgotten the incidents of hooliganism, dictatorship, illegal occupation of land, release of criminals from the police station, injustice and atrocities in his government. People are not ready to vote for SP now.
On the question related to support of SP by Shivpal Singh Yadav, Rajbhar replied asking when he has been away from SP? The Subhaspa president taunted that Shivpal had also collaborated with SP in the last Lok Sabha and Assembly elections and is doing so again.
