मुस्लिमों को समझ आ चुका है कि समाजवादी पार्टी को सिर्फ उनके वोट चाहिए

The displeasure of Muslim leaders is seen as a danger bell for the Samajwadi Party. After the assembly elections, many Muslim leaders left the party accusing Akhilesh of negligence. One after another harsh statements of Muslim leaders of SP are coming to the fore.

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, who has been losing ground to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the political arena, has taken a new path to climb the ladder of success. Akhilesh seems to have changed a bit these days. On one hand they are seen fighting on the road and on the other trying to convince old and disgruntled SP colleagues. Some political experts attribute this change to Mulayam’s political style. Mulayam, popularly known as Netaji, always framed his politics while fighting on the streets, and never offended or ignored his loyalists. This was Netaji’s political capital, but from the beginning of the Akhilesh era in the Samajwadi Party, Samajwadi Party politics was confined to the drawing room. Akhilesh is surrounded by goons who say yes to yes. The leaders did not like the days of struggle of the SP, but they were nowhere to be heard, in such a situation many leaders left the Samajwadi Party and some confined themselves to their homes.

The resentment of Muslim leaders in particular was seen as a danger bell for the Samajwadi Party. After the assembly elections, many Muslim leaders left the party accusing Akhilesh of neglecting them. One after another harsh statements of Muslim leaders of SP are coming to the fore. Many Muslim leaders have resigned from the party. From Azam Khan’s media in-charge to SP MP Shafiqur Rehman Burke vented his anger against Akhilesh. Sambhal Samajwadi Party MP Dr. Shafiqar Rehman Burke attacked his own party. He told the media that he was not satisfied with the work of the BJP. BJP government is not working in the interest of Muslims. Apart from BJP, Samajwadi Party does not work in the interest of Muslims. Dr. Masood, who was the state president of the RLD, submitted his resignation to the party’s national president a few days after the election results. In which he along with RLD president Jayant Chaudhary took a heavy target on SP president Akhilesh Yadav. Akhilesh was also called a dictator. The SP was also accused of selling tickets. Saharanpur SP leader Sikandar Ali has left the party. After leaving the party Sikandar said that we have worked in SP for two decades. The SP president is acting like a coward to show his back. Muslims are being neglected.

Sultanpur city president Kasim Rain has also resigned from all his posts. He said Akhilesh Yadav has no interest in raising his voice against atrocities on Muslims. Irshad Khan, who had been a minister of state in the SP government, had resigned from the party on April 16. He accused SP national president Akhilesh Yadav of neglecting Muslims. Irshad said that Muslims have always been with Samajwadi Party but they could not get participation in power and organization. Most of the leaders who left the party said that Muslims united and voted for the Samajwadi Party in the elections, but the Yadav voters of the SP did not fully join them. As a result, the election was defeated. Even after this, Akhilesh is not speaking on issues related to Muslims and resentment is increasing. Azam Khan, who was once among the super three leaders of the Samajwadi Party, was also upset, but Akhilesh didn’t care about anyone’s displeasure. Senior party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Kunwar Revati Raman Singh is also upset with Akhilesh Yadav. News of a rift between Revathi Raman and Akhilesh had surfaced before, but the rift intensified when Akhilesh replaced him with former Congress leader Kapil Sibal in the Rajya Sabha. Revati Raman Singh is an eight-time MLA, two-time Lok Sabha MP and currently a Rajya Sabha MP. In 2004, he defeated BJP veteran Murali Manohar Joshi. Revathi was counted among the leaders close to Mulayam.

If we talk about the recent changes in Akhilesh’s politics, it was the time when the news of Azam Khan being upset with the Samajwadi Party leadership and Akhilesh Yadav was in the headlines. Akhilesh, who was in Sitapur Jail, never visited Azam Khan. After coming out, Azam also kept pointing at Akhilesh, but Akhilesh kept silent on Azam. The growing rift between Akhilesh and Azam became a major issue in UP politics. Akhilesh still doesn’t seem to care about these things but SP’s defeat in Rampur and Azamgarh Lok Sabha by-elections shows a mirror to Akhilesh. Akhilesh was forced to change his political strategy.

For the past few days, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has started raising his voice on the issue of Muslims and Azam Khan. Akhilesh is attacking the Modi-Yogi government on the survey of madrasas, investigation of Waqf Board properties or action against PFIs. In the same monsoon session, Akhilesh also raised the issue of inquiry into Azam University in the Assembly. Reaching the Raj Bhavan along with about a dozen MLAs, he submitted a memorandum to Governor Anandiben Patel on the Azam Khan issue. After leaving the Raj Bhavan, Akhilesh said that he has demanded the Governor to intervene in the matter and bring justice to Azam Khan.

If seen, Akhilesh Yadav has made many changes in his strategy after the defeat in the last assembly election and then the Azamgarh-Rampur Lok Sabha by-election. Political experts say that Akhilesh has actually realized that if he has to keep the party ready to take on the BJP till the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and the 2027 UP assembly elections, the party will have complete unity. In this order he has started the exercise of merging the old leaders and soldiers of the party with the new ones. Part of this strategy is to visit Azamgarh in the past to meet the jailed Ramakant Yadav and constantly raise the issue of Azam Khan. The SP has once again become active as reports surfaced of a large number of books being removed from Jauhar University in Rampur by breaking down a wall and digging up the ground to remove cleaning machines. Akhilesh Yadav, raising the issue of Azam Khan in the assembly, said that the university is being investigated as if a bomb had been planted. Recently, Akhilesh Yadav went to Delhi and met Azam Khan after being discharged from the hospital. A delegation of SP leaders led by party MP HT Hasan also met CM Yogi Adityanath, who had recently toured western UP on Akhilesh’s direction with Azam.
