When India saw the grass on the field, they won the throw and decided to bowl and the Indian fast bowlers led by Bumrah showed the right thing. Bumrah took six wickets for 19 runs in 7.2 overs. He became the first Indian fast bowler to take five or more wickets in an ODI in England.

This is also the lowest score for England against India. The ball got a good turn and nail, which made Bumrah and Mohammed Shami look more dangerous. Shami took three wickets for 31 runs in seven overs. Jason Roy (0) lost his wicket in an attempt to tamper with Bumrah’s outgoing ball.
