Shah Rukh’s fans still went to watch the film on November 2 and according to trade reports, the film managed to create a new record at the box office. It caused huge explosions at the ticket booths.

The film was released at a low ticket price of Rs 100. Apart from the GST charges, tickets were available at a price of Rs 112. Most theaters reported ‘House Full’ shows nationwide. BOI said, “The film continues on Thursday but on smaller screens as it is a matter of a day coinciding with the Pathan teaser and Shah Rukh’s birthday.”
