Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah will travel with the team on a tour of New Zealand next week after completing a two-day quarantine related to Kovid-19. Shah was left out of the team for the last two matches of the seven-match home T20 International series against England after the corona virus test confirmed the infection.

Lahore. Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah will travel with the team on a tour of New Zealand next week after completing a two-day quarantine related to Kovid-19. Shah was left out of the team for the last two matches of the seven-match home T20 International series against England after the corona virus test confirmed the infection. He had spent two nights in hospital after suffering from pneumonia. The fast bowler said in a tweet that he is “feeling better and recovering from the illness”.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that Shah will follow all the protocols for Kovid-19 under home isolation and will be under the supervision of the cricket board’s medical committee. The Pakistan team leaves for New Zealand early on Monday. The team will participate in a triangular Twenty20 series on this tour which includes New Zealand as well as Bangladesh.

From here, the Pakistani team will go to Australia to participate in the T20 World Cup. Shah had to be admitted to a Lahore hospital late on Tuesday evening after complaining of chest pain and fever. Pakistan team is currently leading 3-2 in the series. The remaining two matches will be played in Lahore on Friday and Sunday.
