Kabir on his relationship with Parveen Babi
Kabir Bedi said, “When Parveen came to me and I realized she wanted to start a relationship with me, I knew she was emotional at that moment. She had a breakup with Danny Denzongpa. I didn’t want to take advantage of him. The basis for relationships was mutual sensitivity. But my relationship with her was complicated as Parveen’s mental condition was deteriorating day by day. This happened when I reached the peak of my career in Italy with the popular Italian TV Sandokan which was a huge success. When we were in India, there was no problem. said the actor “Suddenly I was the star and she wasn’t. That also upset her. Add to that the fact that her mental health was slowly deteriorating. In the third chapter of the book I write about her success and her mental breakdown, So you will find a strange ‘jugalbandi’ in the chapter How on a professional level I reached greater heights but on a personal level a tragedy occurred.
