In the Asian circuit, Neeraj’s close rival Arshad Nadeem finished fifth with a best effort of 86.16m. When asked about the conversation he had with Nadeem during the competition, Neeraj said that he didn’t really get much time during the event. However, he told reporters at the press conference that he managed to meet Nadeem after the event and congratulated him for putting up a strong performance.

Neeraj said I spoke to Arshad after the competition was over. I told him he did very well. He replied that he had a problem with his elbow. I further congratulated him on the brilliant toss and it was very commendable and commendable even after his injury when he bowled over 86m.

Neeraj Chopra has previously shown that he has good relations with Nadeem from Pakistan. The two had shared the Asian Games stage together in Jakarta 2018. When social media users tried to blame Nadeem for tampering with his personal spear, he appealed to the public not to form an opinion on any controversy involving Nadeem.
