India has 8.5% tribal population, which is higher in some seven-eighth northern and western states (such as Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha). All these states are important to the BJP, even if the tribals of the northeast are excluded.
Voting for the post of President of India took place. The way the cross-voting took place, the way members of the opposition camp voted, it looks like the BJP will make its candidate Draupadi Murmu victorious by a huge margin. After this, the election of the Vice President will be held. Polling for the presidential post suggests that the BJP will make its vice-presidential candidate, West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar, victorious. For this he will not have to do any kind of manipulation.
Draupadi, who is going to be the new President, belongs to the Murmu tribal community. The NDA and its main constituent BJP presented them as a tribal society. Many opposition parties also voted for him as a tribal candidate. From the voting stand, it seems that he will be the next President of the country. BJP projected Jagdeep Dhankhar as a farmer’s son. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself tweeted the same. It is believed that the BJP has made Dhankhar its candidate keeping in mind the farmers’ agitations, farmers’ resentment in the past. Some experts believe that the BJP’s motive behind making Dhankhar the vice-presidential candidate is to get farmers, especially Jat votes, in Haryana and Rajasthan elections.

It is believed that the farmers of Haryana and Rajasthan, especially the Jat vote, have fielded Draupadi Murmu for the presidency and Jagdeep Dhankhar for the vice-presidential position, with their tribal votes. But after sitting on these positions, whether these leaders will be able to do anything for their society, this question is worth thinking about.
The twelfth President of the country, Mrs. Pratibha Patil was the first woman President. His tenure was from 25 July 2005 to July 2012. She became the first woman President of the country. At that time there was a Congress government in the country. Manmohan Singh was the prime minister of the government. Pratibha Patil was introduced as the first woman President. Being a woman, the women’s society of the country had a lot of expectations from her. But nothing happened during his tenure that could improve the living conditions of women in the country.
Sardar Giani Zail Singh was the President of the country from 1982 to 1987. It was during his tenure that the Golden Temple operation took place. The army entered the Golden Temple to eliminate the Sikh terrorists living in the Golden Temple. Often the Sikhs resented this operation. Renowned journalist Khushwant Singh also returned his Padma Bhushan award in protest. President Giani Zail Singh could do nothing to stop it.
Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated when Jayani Zail Singh was the President. In protest against this massacre, mass killings of Sikhs became common across the country. Gyani Zail Singh could not do anything despite being the President. They could not play any effective role in preventing the mass genocide of the people of their society.
Actually, the president does the job of scrutinizing and approving laws etc. passed by the parliament. It can give suggestions to the government. No law or order can be passed on its behalf.

So Draupadi Murmu should become the President of the country or Dhankhar should be made the Vice President. They don’t seem to be able to do anything good for their society. At the time of elections in the country, political parties make candidates by looking at the number of castes and similarly form the cabinet. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar himself hails from a farming family. But they could not put an end to the agitation started against the three Agrarian Acts. The agitating farmers could not explain their point to the leaders.
Actually elections in India are won by slogans. He has nothing to do with party work. Mrs. Indira Gandhi once won an election on the nationalization of banks. Once she became victorious on the slogan of ‘Grabi Hatao’, but poverty did not end. There is still poverty in the country. Will happen. Now it seems. The name came for tribal vote. Draupadi Murmu benefited from this. Same will happen with Jagdeep Dhankhar. But because of their creation, their society has nothing to gain. We get what the ruling party at the center wants.
