In fact, Kumaraswamy is seen abusing senior Congress leader KR Ramesh Kumar in the video. Ramesh Kumar has been the 16th Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. The video of Kumaraswamy has been shared by the Karnataka Congress through its official account. The party wrote: ‘Kumaraswamy can be seen driving a car in Srinivasapur assembly constituency. During this he abuses the former speaker KR Ramesh Kumar. Kumaraswamy is the MLA from this constituency and the Congress has tweeted a video of Kumaraswamy saying that hatred should not be the basis of politics, the words we use or the way we behave is the mirror of our personality. Karnataka Congress tagged Kumaraswamy and wrote, ‘The words you have used will not glorify you nor will they save the dignity of politics. The elders have told us that politics can be done with mutual respect.
Kumaraswamy apologized to the Congress leader
Seeing the controversy grow, Kumaraswamy immediately reacted saying that the words I had spoken to Ramesh Kumar had also hurt me. Such words are neither my trademark nor my personality, if this has hurt Ramesh Kumar and anyone else, I am sorry.
Kumaraswamy said he was pained to see the dilapidated condition of a school at Bangwadi in Srinivasapur assembly constituency. Seeing all this made me angry because the children were studying in the barn opposite the school for the last 2-3 years. Kumaraswamy said the children’s tears made me angry, after which the abuse came out of my mouth by mistake. My intention was not to hurt anyone, I apologize for this.
