In a message sent to the state units, Ganguly said, “IPL will be organized from next year in terms of playing matches at home ground and opposition team’s ground. All 10 teams will play their home matches at their respective venues.

The BCCI is organizing its full domestic season for the first time since 2020, with teams playing in the old home-and-away format. Apart from this, the BCCI is also planning to organize the much-awaited women’s IPL early next year. PTI reported last month that the Women’s IPL could be held in March after the Women’s T20 World Cup to be held in South Africa.

In a message sent on September 20, Ganguly said, “The BCCI is currently working on organizing the much awaited Women’s IPL. Its first season may be held early next year.” Apart from the women’s IPL, the BCCI will organize the girls’ U-15 one-day tournament from December 26 to January 12. Its matches will be played in Bangalore, Ranchi, Rajkot, Indore, Raipur and Pune.The board also confirmed to hold the AGM on October 18. This meeting will be held in Mumbai.
